[PERSONALITY & HISTORY]

PERSONALITY: Flauros, unsurprisingly, has a very fiery personality. He is a very intense individual, and tends to command the attention of others without even trying. He was an angel once, after all. He gets along well with most people who summon him, as long as they keep him firmly under control. It's when he's not controlled that he becomes a problem.

Generally speaking, he's one of the more "friendly" demons you'll meet, at least on a superficial level. He is patient, and will follow commands of those who prove themselves powerful and have a right to give them without putting up a fight.

On the other hand, he has a terrible temper once it is aroused, although getting him sufficiently angry takes a lot of effort. When angry, he tends to kill first, usually by fire, and ask questions later. Just... don't make him angry and you'll be fine. That's a good rule to live by.

One last thing to note is that in Flauros is a veritable font of useful information (including but not limited to knowledge on creation, on other demons, angels, as well as future and the past), and will share this information if asked directly. Usually he will give the information freely; however, the only way you can be certain he is not lying (as he lies like a rug) is to have him trapped within a protective circle. There, he cannot lie to a direct question.

DISLIKES: Being summoned by people who he deems unworthy.

HERITAGE: Fallen Angel
HISTORY: Flauros was once an angel; no really, the kind that lives in Heaven, serves God, and everything. That kind of angel. He wasn't born; he was created, just as all angels were, to serve God. No free will, or at least it seemed that way when the humans were created and so clearly favored over angels. Despite that, Flauros was happy, as they all were, with his life... until an angel known as Lucifer, the Morning Star, decided to rebel. The humans were given free will; why not them? Why did the Divine show such obvious favoritism to a lesser race of beings?

People often forget that when Lucifer Fell, he was not the only angel who did so. There were many others who followed him; many others who became demons. Flauros was one such fallen angel, not well known enough to be remembered by most humans but important enough to be cast out like the others. Flauros Fell when Lucifer did, and he has been around ever since. And he's sort of pissed that he was misled, not that he'd announce that to the Morning Star.

Life in Hell isn't quite like it was in Heaven, but Flauros can do nothing about it. Over time and with the loss of his wings, he- like so many others- became a demon, reveling in the pain and chaos of Hell. And over the years, he rose to the rank of a Great Duke; now he controls 36 legions of Demons.

Over the years, he has spent some time on earth, but it is impossible for a demon to get to earth without a little help. Which is why, when he is summoned, he's usually quite friendly to those who summon him. He would like to stick around topside. Who wouldn't?

[APPEARANCE]

MODEL: Aaron Tveit
APPEARANCE: Usually, Flauros will first appear as a huge leopard, or part-leopard, part-human figure with red eyes. Sometimes he will appear as a hawk, but that is infrequent. In this form he also has red eyes.

In human form, he seems to appear as a young man, maybe eighteen years old, perhaps a little older, with short reddish hair, pale, with red eyes that reflect his demonic origins. If he works at it, he can force his eyes to take on a blue color to look more typical, but that is not his natural eye color.

Even in human form, there is just something about him that strikes most people as... off. He doesn't move like a human; his movements are usually more akin to those of a cat than anything. And the air around him is always a little warmer than the rest of the room.

[SPECIALTIES]

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

-Sees the past, present, and future simultaneously. Can answer questions about these when asked directly.
-Can make it so the person who summons him immune to temptations of any form, but again only if asked directly.
-Can shift his form between that of a human man and a demonic leopard; can have a form that is in between. Very occasionally takes hawk form as well.
-Controls fire, and can destroy people by burning them.
-Can be called upon to destroy other demons for mortals.
-Truly immortal. If killed (beheading or complete disintegration is really the only surefire way), will only be sent back to hell, not truly destroyed.

WEAKNESSES:

-Can be summoned by anyone who knows how and is powerful enough.
-Once summoned, if he is within a circle the summoner has control over him to an extent.
-Cannot lie when within a magic triangle; will answer freely any questions asked of him.
-Cannot break his word if a pact is made within a summoning circle.
-Holy water. It's painful. It will piss him the hell off, too.

SKILLS: Honestly, this is a long list, but he is also rather useless sometimes when it comes to things like... driving a car or turning on the television.
